We are seeking a coordinator to lead and monitor an educational program related to environmental topics in the Barcelona metropolitan area, ensuring service quality, coordination of the educational team, and liaison with the various stakeholders involved in the project. Appointment to this position is subject to the final resolution and award of a public tender. What will your functions and responsibilities be? Your tasks and responsibilities will be as follows: • Coordination with the client. • Planning, organization, and monitoring of the service. • Management of the educational team and pedagogical support. • Budgetary control and support for invoicing. • Incident management and continuous service improvement. • Review and updating of educational scripts and program documentation. • Review and validation of reports and summaries. • Support for program communication and dissemination activities. Competencies / Knowledge: To successfully undertake this new challenge, we are looking for a person who brings the following knowledge, experience, and competencies to the team. Profile requirements: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Biology, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Environmental Education, or other degrees related to sciences, the environment, or environmental education. • Minimum 8 years of experience coordinating educational, environmental, or community-based projects. • Catalan language proficiency (C1) and English language proficiency (B2–C1), sufficient to conduct activities. • Knowledge of additional languages, certified officially (minimum B2 level). • We recommend that you reside in Barcelona or its surrounding areas. Complementary training that will be valued: • Additional official university qualifications (Bachelor’s, Master’s, official postgraduate, or Doctorate degrees) and specialized or postgraduate courses of at least 20 hours delivered by universities, professional schools, or accredited institutions. Other requirements: • Minimum two years of experience as an educator in topics related to energy. • Proficiency in digital tools for management and content creation, including at minimum: spreadsheets (user-level, e.g., Microsoft Excel or equivalents). • Digital tools for creating educational or communicative content, such as Canva, Genially, or similar platforms. • Valid Class B driving license. * Permanent employment contract * Full-time position * Other relevant information: Where will you work?
