Painter \- Vehicle Workshop
**Job Description**
We are seeking to hire a **First-Class Automotive Painter** with proven experience in bodywork repair and painting. The selected candidate must independently master all stages of the painting process: **surface preparation, color matching, paint application, and finishing**, ensuring a final result of the highest quality.
We seek a meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented professional capable of working according to established quality standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess damage and determine the required repair and painting process.
* Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, filling, and primer application.
* Perform minor repairs of dents, scratches, and imperfections.
* Properly protect and mask areas not requiring painting.
* Identify paint systems: **single-layer, two-layer, three-layer, and four-layer**.
* Perform color matching and colorimetry using a **spectrophotometer**.
* Prepare and apply paints and clear coats following each manufacturer's processes and specifications.
* Carry out painting work inside spray booths.
* Execute finishing and polishing procedures to ensure optimal results.
* Inspect the quality of completed work and perform necessary touch-ups.
* Meet established repair timelines based on the type and complexity of each job.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and the workplace in perfect cleanliness and order.
* Correctly use **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)** and comply with occupational safety regulations.
Requirements
* **Prior experience** working as an automotive painter.
* Demonstrable experience and professional progression in the categories of **Third-Class and Second-Class Technician**.
* Proficiency in vehicle surface preparation, painting, and finishing processes.
* Experience in color matching and application of various paint systems.
* Proficiency in spectrophotometer operation and specialized painting tools.
* Vocational training at Intermediate or Advanced Level in **Bodywork**, or equivalent professional experience.
* Knowledge of polishing systems, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
* Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in an organized, methodical, and autonomous manner.
* Valid driver's license.
* Knowledge of and compliance with occupational safety and risk prevention regulations.
