Prepare guest drink orders using a measuring system and following prescribed recipes. Dispense, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles. Set up and maintain cleanliness of the bar, bar units, tables, and other equipment. Prepare fresh drink garnishes. Stock ice, glasses, and paper supplies. Transport supplies to the bar setup area. Wash soiled glasses. Remove soiled dishware from bar tops and tables and place it in designated areas. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Process all forms of payment. At shift close, count the cash bank, complete the required cashier report, resolve discrepancies, submit receipts, and secure the bank. Ensure security of alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Perform closing duties.
Comply with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management; complete safety training and obtain required certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect company assets. Welcome all guests, express appreciation, anticipate and address guest service needs, and sincerely thank guests—per company standards. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build and maintain positive relationships with fellow employees; support team efforts toward shared goals; listen to and appropriately respond to colleagues’ concerns. Consistently uphold expected quality and standards. Read and visually verify information presented in various formats (e.g., small print). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout an entire work shift. Lift, carry, move, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, rotate, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Navigate narrow spaces, confined areas, and elevated locations. Traverse uneven, slippery, or sloped surfaces and ascend/descend stairs and ramps. Reach overhead and below knee level by bending, twisting, pulling, or squatting. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Minimum one year of related experience.
