Production Section Zona Franca Center Job Title: Maintenance Technician Production Section Zona Franca Center ### **JOB DESCRIPTION** Prosidmed S.A., a company in the ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy sector belonging to the Hiemesa Group, requires a Maintenance Technician for its factory located in Barcelona \- Zona Franca \-. The selected candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, participating in daily tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the company’s facilities and equipment. We are seeking a candidate interested in building a career in the maintenance field. Attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment are valued more highly than prior experience. From day one, you will work alongside the Maintenance Manager, participating in the daily operation of the facilities and acquiring practical knowledge that will enable your professional development and progressive assumption of new responsibilities. Responsibilities: · General preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of machinery in facilities. · Diagnosis and resolution of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures. · Control and planning of equipment repairs, following the Factory Manager’s guidelines. · Periodic inspection of machinery condition and functionality. · Implementation of improvements in maintenance processes to optimize efficiency and reduce recurring failures. · Workshop organization and maintenance. · Coordination with other departments to manage scheduled shutdowns and emergencies. · General repairs in offices, factory premises, changing rooms, canteen, and external lighting and installations, including control and planning of equipment repairs in accordance with Industrial Management directives, as well as monitoring consumables stock and collaborating on improvements and projects for production lines and equipment. ### **REQUIREMENTS** Mandatory: * Vocational Training Level II (FP II) or Medium-Level Vocational Training Cycle – Mechanics or equivalent * Minimum two years’ experience performing similar duties * Solid knowledge of Mechanics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electronics, Electromechanics, Electricity, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) * Basic familiarity with profiling and panel production lines * Proficiency in office software tools Desirable: * Theoretical-practical overhead crane operator certificate * Basic Occupational Health and Safety (PRL) course * Personal vehicle available for commuting to the workplace We offer: Permanent contract and a salary and training career development plan
