Your day-to-day will involve: * Proactively identifying new SME subscription opportunities. * Monthly monitoring and achievement of your regional plan (portfolio, new business, claims ratio, retention, etc.). * Monitoring and reviewing the proper execution of subscription initiatives. * Supporting subscription during key renewals of our SME portfolio. * Detailed evaluation and understanding of broker portfolios to identify growth opportunities for each SME broker assigned to your panel. * Conducting cross-selling with other business lines to increase product density per client. * Interacting with sales teams related to your territory or assigned brokers. * Building strong networks of agents and brokers focused on SME insurance. * Reporting feedback from intermediaries internally to drive timely improvements. * Collaborating with marketing teams for agents/brokers and supporting product launches. * Diagnosing and developing recommendations to resolve specific issues affecting the business unit, brokers, or agents. * Researching, recommending, and implementing risk management-based solutions that meet brokers’ and agents’ needs. **By now, you’re probably wondering: “How do I know if I’m a good fit?”** Don’t worry—I won’t ask you to save the planet or meet 100% of the requirements. * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent. * Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in underwriting, ideally in corporate risk. * Knowledge of SME-specific underwriting products. * Strong negotiation skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with intermediaries and market teams. * Results- and goal-oriented.
