About the department
The internship will take place within the **Smart Infrastructure – Buildings** division, specifically in the **Bid & Proposal Management (BPM)** area. This team participates in developing technological solutions for intelligent, sustainable, and secure buildings, contributing to the preparation of technical proposals targeting building automation and fire protection systems.
The area combines technical expertise with business insight to design solutions tailored to each project’s requirements, collaborating closely with various multidisciplinary teams.
Training objectives
During the internship period, the student will have the opportunity to:
* Understand the process of analyzing tender documents, offers, and customer technical requirements.
* Learn the methodology used to design building automation and fire protection systems compliant with current regulations.
* Develop competencies in equipment selection and interpretation of technical documentation.
* Participate in learning the process of preparing technical\-economic proposals and associated documentation.
* Become familiar with drafting diagrams, plans, and technical project documentation.
* Understand coordination among technical, commercial, and project execution departments.
* Strengthen analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities within an international technological environment.
Learning plan and mentoring
The selected candidate will be continuously supported by a Siemens mentor with extensive experience in the field.
Ongoing support includes:
* Initial definition of training objectives.
* Continuous guidance throughout the entire internship period.
* Periodic follow-up and orientation meetings.
* Constructive feedback to foster development of both technical and transversal competencies.
* Evaluation of progress achieved against defined learning objectives.
Candidate profile — Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
* Master’s students in engineering-related disciplines are also eligible.
Languages
* English level B2\.
