The application deadline ends on **January 19, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.** **APPLICATION SUBMISSION** To participate in the selection process, candidates must attach the following supporting documentation to their candidate profile: * Curriculum Vitae * Employment History Record (or negative employment history record / negative affiliation report) * Academic qualifications * Certification of training related to the position to be filled **MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** ------------------------------------ * Conduct risk assessments for locations and activities within the naval repair sector. * Analyze regulations and preventive requirements of clients’ management systems, as well as applicable national legislation—particularly OHSA 5410 Occupational Safety and Health Standard for the Maritime Industry / 29 CFR 1915 & NAVSEA Standard / NFPA 306 / NSI 009-07 / NFPA 306. * Maintain daily communication, liaison, and reporting with the client regarding preventive management aspects of projects. * Monitor compliance with the prevention program, risk reduction, and perform specialized activities for controlling working conditions (industrial hygiene, ergonomics, psychosocial risks) across various scenarios within the naval repair sector at Navantia Rota facilities. * Perform atmospheric measurements in confined spaces and conduct hygiene studies for both Navantia projects and U.S. Navy projects, as well as issue certifications for such confined or enclosed spaces according to client criteria. * Carry out information and training activities for workers. * Participate in developing Prevention Plans in Spanish and English for various naval repair programs. * Conduct preventive inspections on naval sector projects/facilities. * Participate in advising on and analyzing Special Work Permits for high-risk activities. * Advise the entire organization on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). * Participate in planning the company’s preventive activities. * Provide advisory support regarding shipboard system lockout/tagout procedures and knowledge of their operation. * Identify national legal requirements and those of international clients served. * Prepare accident and incident investigation reports, including those involving subcontractors. * Conduct internal Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) audits at Navantia and partner companies, and participate in external client audits, prequalification audits, ISO 45001 audits, and regulatory audits. * Manage the SAP-EHS tool for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management within the Department. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety covering all three specialties (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics & Applied Psychosociology). **Training Courses Valued in Phase 1 (Merit Evaluation) Related to the Position to Be Filled:** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * ISO 45001:2018 — Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. * Internal Audit ISO 45001:2018. * Shipyard Competent Person per NSI (NAVSEA Standard Item) 009-07. * OHSA 5410 Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Maritime Industry. **JOB CONDITIONS** Entry Level: Minimum D2 Contract Type: Permanent Should any candidate experience issues with the platform, they must send an email to **rrhh_portal@navantia.es**, specifying the problem encountered.
