Job Summary: We are seeking a technical/senior engineer to model production processes, conduct simulations, and analyze load-capacity in an industrial or shipbuilding environment. Key Highlights: 1. We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster. **Key Responsibilities** **PURPOSE OF THE ROLE/ JOB SUMMARY** * Definition of the intermediate products (IP) database. * Classification of typologies, production lines, and manufacturing locations. * Data collection for simulations. * Modeling of production processes (times, workstations, and bottlenecks). * Development of simulations in Excel (diagrams, VBA, Gantt charts). * Analysis of space utilization. * Load\-capacity analysis of processes. * Creation of visual manufacturing maps. * Monitoring of shipyard spaces. * Support for Plant Simulation (Siemens) tool. * Support for production and planning reports. * Workshop visits for validation, if required. We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21,000 difference\-makers in our workplace. **Benefits** **REQUIRED/DESIRED COMPETENCIES \& SKILLS** * Technical/senior engineer, bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering (any specialization) or higher vocational training technician. * Proof of minimum English proficiency level B1. * Demonstrable experience with the following tools: o Excel: expert level (creation of complex systems, VBA, and connection to external databases). o Access: intermediate level enabling integration of databases into Excel-based simulations. * Minimum one year of demonstrable experience in naval or industrial construction programs, performing process monitoring, space simulation, and bottleneck analysis. **REQUIRED/DESIRED PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES** * Coordination and planning capability * Teamwork * Effective communication **REQUIRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE** * Technical/senior engineer, bachelor’s/master’s degree in engineering (any specialization) or higher vocational training technician. * Proof of minimum English proficiency level B1. * Demonstrable experience with the following tools: o Excel: expert level (creation of complex systems, VBA, and connection to external databases). o Access: intermediate level enabling integration of databases into Excel-based simulations. * More than five years of demonstrable experience in naval or industrial construction programs. * More than five years of demonstrable experience in process monitoring, space simulation, and bottleneck analysis. * More than five years of demonstrable experience with Siemens’ corporate tool “Plant Simulation".
