PRODUCTION OPERATOR (AFTERNOON SHIFT)

At Castañé Grup, a family-owned company specializing in the design and manufacture of custom-made wooden industrial packaging, located in Besalú (La Garrotxa), we are seeking **a production operator** to join our workshop team. If you enjoy working in dynamic environments, are proactive and solution-oriented, and are looking to be part of a long-term project, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. *What is the objective of your role?* **To ensure the correct assembly and preparation of custom-made wooden packaging**, following technical specifications and established quality standards, with the aim of guaranteeing efficiency, safety, and order in daily workshop operations. *What will your responsibilities be?* \- **Preparation of materials**, tools, and components required for production. \- **Assembly and manufacturing of wooden packaging**, according to drawings and production orders. \- Use of manual and electric tools for cutting, assembling, and finishing wooden parts. \- **Quality control** of finished products, including verification of dimensions and finishes. \- Identification and reporting of production or quality issues. \- **Maintenance of order, cleanliness, and safety** at the workplace. *What do we expect from you (mandatory requirements)?* \- A **proactive, responsible, and autonomous** individual. Ability to learn and adapt to diverse tasks, demonstrating initiative. \- Minimum **two years’ experience** performing duties similar to those described. \- **Native-level proficiency in Catalan and/or Spanish**. \- **Driving license B1** and personal vehicle. \- **Residence in La Garrotxa or nearby areas**. *What would be considered an asset?* \- Experience operating forklift trucks. *What do we offer?* \- A stable position within an established company undergoing growth. \- Annual gross salary range of **€21,000–€24,000**, depending on experience and candidate value. \- Full-time schedule from **Monday to Friday, afternoon shift from 13:45 to 22:00**. \- Initial training and ongoing support. \- A friendly and collaborative work environment.
