In 2009, we were worldwide pioneers in developing mobile biometrics, and in 2024 we aim to remain at the technological forefront. Today, we have three key products: * **MobbScan**: a cutting-edge identity document recognition solution (ID cards, passports, etc.) that determines whether a document is authentic and belongs to the user through biometric recognition. It also scans textual information via OCR to automatically fill out any form. MobbScan is the ideal solution for any digital onboarding process. * **MobbID**: a biometric authentication product capable of providing user identification through a mobile device using one or more unique user characteristics (voice, face, signature, iris, fingerprint...). * **MobbSign**: a solution that allows signing electronic documents with handwritten signatures, legally valid, paperless️, from any digital device (iPad, tablet, smartphone, pen tablet…). Among your day-to-day responsibilities related to these three products, you will: * Evolve and develop the backend APIs and services for the backoffices and/or dashboards of the different products. * Develop and optimize microservices implementing core product operations, ensuring their scalability and resilience in high-performance environments. * Collaborate closely with the frontend team, ensuring seamless integration between the presentation layer and backend services to deliver a solid and consistent user experience. * Participate in technical and architectural decisions, as well as in potential functional improvements to the products. * Ensure data security and protection throughout all processing stages, applying best practices in cybersecurity and compliance with regulations and standards. What we’re looking for ----------- Ideally, we are seeking someone with experience as a backend developer and knowledge or skills in the following areas: * Experience with **Java** and **Spring**. Other backend languages such as **Node.js** or **Python** are also valued. * Solid understanding of **backend architecture**, including RESTful APIs and microservices. * Strong command of **design patterns and solid development practices** (Clean Code, SOLID). * Experience working with **SQL databases** (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and **No\-SQL databases** (MongoDB, Redis). * Familiarity with **version control systems** like Git, and collaboration practices using **merge requests** and code reviews. * Knowledge of **unit and integration testing** using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or similar. * It would be great if you have experience with **automation and CI/CD tools** (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). It would be fantastic if you also had knowledge or skills in: * Familiarity with containerization and cloud infrastructure such as Docker, Kubernetes, and platforms like AWS. * Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and tools like JIRA. * Knowledge of backend system monitoring and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack. * Interest or experience in Machine Learning and large-scale data processing. * Knowledge of asynchronous messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka. * Experience in performance optimization and scalability of high-load backend applications.
