At **UPS Healthcare**, we are seeking an **Automation Technician** who wants to join an innovative, high-impact environment. **What will be your mission?** Ensure the proper operation of our automated machinery and control systems, guaranteeing efficient, safe, and uninterrupted performance within the warehouse and facilities. **Key Responsibilities:** * First point of contact for incidents involving automated systems. * Coordination with technical service providers to resolve failures. * Basic mechanical and electrical interventions, and replacement of minor components. * Clear communication between Operations and the Regional Automation Supervisor (BaSE). * Training operators on system usage. * Reporting of malfunctions and analysis of KPIs. * Supporting the maintenance team in minor repairs. * **Requirements:** * Education in Automation, Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. * Prior experience in industrial or logistics environments with automated systems. * Experience with systems such as **Exotec SkyPod, Knapp OSR shuttles, and end-of-line automation solutions (e.g., I\-pack packaging machines, automatic shipping label applicators, and automated conveyor belts)** is highly desirable. * Knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance (low voltage). * Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. * Technical English proficiency (B1 or higher is desirable). * Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. * Willingness to work rotating shifts, if required. **What do we offer?** ✔ **Location**: Polinyà (Barcelona) ✔ Stability and career progression within a global leader in the Healthcare sector. ✔ Cutting-edge technology and highly automated processes. ✔ A collaborative and dynamic work environment. ✔ Continuous training and professional growth opportunities. **Why UPS Healthcare?** At UPS Healthcare, we connect the world with what matters most: health.
