Description
If managing an account means more to you than just being a 'message passer' — if it means sitting down with the client's leadership team, identifying business opportunities where others see only problems, and ensuring project profitability — we need to talk.
At WAM, we are looking to hire a Senior Account Manager who will serve as the primary consultative liaison between our clients and our studio. We won’t settle for someone limited to tactical follow-up; we seek a professional who elevates strategic alignment, maximizes portfolio growth through high-value proposals, and positions themselves as a trusted guide and support for the team.
Your mission will be to lead and support the development of a client portfolio. Your primary objective will be to ensure maximum client satisfaction, guarantee economic profitability, and achieve sustainable account growth through comprehensive project leadership. You will deliver high-level strategic solutions that optimize our internal resources and maximize business impact for both parties.
What you’ll actually do:
Strategic Management and Consulting
* Independently lead end-to-end management of key accounts and highly complex projects.
* Act as the main point of contact between the client and the studio, maintaining fluid dialogue with the client.
* Lead periodic executive meetings to present progress, gather feedback, and reinforce client loyalty.
Profitability and Business Growth
* Identify and implement high-impact upselling and cross-selling opportunities — always under business leadership supervision — to maximize revenue and profitability of your portfolio.
* Plan, supervise, and optimize internal and external resources, strictly safeguarding margins, timelines, costs, and overall account profitability.
* Analyze reports and metrics to validate achievement of global business KPIs, proposing strategic pivots when necessary.
Leadership, Team and Support
* Proactively anticipate and independently resolve incidents or risks that could jeopardize project success.
* Supervise, support, and mentor internal team members and junior/middle-level account professionals, serving as a methodological reference and pillar.
* Collaborate with the commercial and strategy teams in preparing and defending pitches and commercial proposals to acquire new business (New Business).
* Regularly report to the Operations Director on the financial and strategic health of your accounts via executive reporting.
We grow with you, and care for you:
* Flexible working hours: Balance between your personal and professional life.
* Remote work: Hybrid model. We meet at the office from Monday to Wednesday. Remote work on Thursday and Friday.
* Salary range: Between €37K–€45K gross annual, depending on your experience.
* Special days: A day off on your birthday, and on December 24 and 31.
* Equality Plan: We promote equitable participation, respect, and fair opportunities for all individuals.
* Flexible Compensation: Access our plan via Cobee.
* Professional Development: A personalized development plan aligned with your profile and aspirations.
* Intensive schedule: Fridays until 3:00 PM. Additionally, during summer (June 22 to September 11) and Christmas (December 21 to January 8), we work from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Mandatory requirements (if these don’t match your profile, this role is not for you):
* Minimum 4 years of solid, end-to-end account portfolio management experience.
* Work environment: Demonstrable prior experience working in advertising agencies, digital marketing agencies, or technology consulting firms.
* Language: C1 level English, with proven ability to conduct executive meetings, negotiate, and deliver presentations in English.
* Commercial and Financial Vision: Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and optimizing budget control and account profitability.
* High-level stakeholder engagement: Ability to hold strategic dialogues with senior leadership and build strong relationships.
