Description
A position is available in a warehouse dedicated to ferrous products, where the main tasks revolve around handling large-volume materials such as bars, tubes, and iron profiles. Daily work involves ensuring a constant and orderly flow of these materials, collaborating closely with the team to maintain inventory organization.
A key part of the role is operating the overhead crane, a machine that enables safe and precise movement of heavy loads. Significant physical effort is not required, as machinery performs the heavy lifting; however, maintaining full attention, accuracy, and strict adherence to safety regulations is essential. Keeping materials well-organized is an ongoing responsibility to ensure smooth operations.
You will also participate in inbound and outbound logistics, including loading and unloading trucks. Order preparation is another important activity, ensuring each shipment contains the correct materials and is dispatched on time. In summary, this position is essential for the proper functioning of the supply chain and overall warehouse efficiency.
At least two years of prior experience working in warehouses within the ferrous metallurgy, metallurgical, or similar industries—where large-volume and heavy materials are handled—is required. Demonstrable practical proficiency and hands-on experience operating overhead cranes are mandatory, as this equipment is the primary tool for load handling. The ideal candidate is responsible, methodical, agile in movement, and rigorously attentive to safety regulations and work instructions.
