Join our team of Environmental Educators and become part of the Maresme Integrated Waste Valorization Center, a leading facility in waste management. Under the motto **"Recycling and Energy,"** it constitutes a **European reference center**, both in waste treatment and energy generation. **Where will you work?** Maresme Integrated Waste Valorization Center (Carrer de la Teixidora, 83, 08302 Mataró (Barcelona)). **What type of contract do we offer?** Fixed-term discontinuous contract. **Salary:** €21,805.57 gross per year. **What will your working schedule and hours be?** Immediate start until June 22, 2026. * You will work a part-time schedule (12 hours) from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 13:30, varying according to scheduled visits. Occasionally, you will also work weekday afternoons and weekends. **What will be your duties and responsibilities?** Once you join our Education team, in the **Environmental Education area**, your challenges and responsibilities will be as follows: * Raise awareness and foster understanding among visitors regarding environmental issues related to waste and the importance of proper waste management and its impact on the environment. * Lead visits and workshops for various audiences, primarily school groups (primary, lower secondary, upper secondary, and vocational training). * Ensure welcoming and farewell procedures for your group. * Distribute evaluation questionnaires to the group and assess the activities conducted. * Provide support in preparing reports. * Communicate and manage incidents. * Attend internal coordination meetings. * Monitor stock levels of consumable materials required to conduct activities. **What are we looking for?** To successfully undertake this new challenge, we seek a candidate who brings the following knowledge, experience, and competencies to our team.
