Due to increased activity, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician based in **Parets del Vallès, Barcelona**. As part of the **Maintenance Team**, you will be responsible for: * Maintaining established quality standards under the strictest regulations by performing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all Production equipment. * Drafting operating instructions for installed equipment for the Production team. * Drafting preventive maintenance instructions for the Production team, according to equipment manufacturer guidelines and/or experience with such equipment. * Drafting preventive maintenance instructions for the Maintenance team, according to equipment manufacturer criteria and/or experience with such equipment. * Tracking compliance with requirements specified in Preventive Maintenance Instructions, as well as recording actions performed during each preventive maintenance activity. * Training Team Leaders on correct use of Production equipment and execution of preventive maintenance operations. * Training Perso operators to properly carry out defined preventive maintenance operations under their responsibility. * Proposing improvements to the Production Manager regarding equipment enhancements deemed necessary for optimal operation and, where possible, productivity increases. * Reporting resolved failures to the Maintenance Coordinator and Production Manager after each intervention, and entering related data into the associated maintenance program. * Collaborating with various internal or external technical teams working on company facilities. * Contacting regular suppliers, if required, to respond as rapidly as possible when replacement parts or services from them are needed. * Installing and commissioning Production equipment. * Implementing corporate solutions and/or improvements on Production equipment. * Keeping Production equipment software versions up to date. * Improving machines to increase productivity or safety. * Ensuring orderly and clean conditions for maintenance-related items, tools, components, and areas distributed across different work zones. * Maintaining building facilities, performing first-level maintenance or contacting the maintenance contractor to resolve incidents. **Experience, Knowledge and Skills** * Higher Vocational Training qualification (Mecatronics professional track) * Basic user-level English proficiency (equivalent to A1\-A2 levels of the European Framework). * Ability to analyze and interpret any type of information regarding industrial machinery. * Analytical, solution-oriented, organized and methodical individual. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance **Desirable:** * Although not mandatory, a Technical Engineering degree is valued. **What We Offer:** * Rotating shifts every two weeks. * Meal vouchers and social benefits (childcare, training, etc.) Thales is an equal opportunity employer committed to gender equality, and therefore works to raise awareness and disseminate information on this topic both internally and externally.
