A high-visibility role that, due to interaction with numerous departments, provides the employee with a comprehensive view of all areas involved in the production plant’s manufacturing process. This represents an excellent opportunity to acquire LEAN Manufacturing knowledge and develop capabilities within a dynamic, challenging, and demanding environment. **Responsibilities** The person assuming this position will focus on the following two pillars: Implementation of “Waste”, OEE, and HSE improvements aiming at continuous enhancement of production lines and the plant. * You will conduct loss analysis, define technical solutions, and monitor results of such improvements. * You will identify and contact various suppliers using the BVOA (Best Value Option Analysis) approach. * Capital Management: initiating investments, placing orders, monitoring investment financials, closing investments. * Integrate changes, projects, or improvements without impacting operations, ensuring project objectives are met. Process Engineer for initiative start-up: * You will serve as the liaison with the Operations Department to ensure alignment between both departments during project development and implementation of new operations incorporating new technologies. * You will participate in the problem definition and strategy phases of improvement projects, ensuring LEAN tools are applied in each phase and managing necessary resources throughout the project. * You will participate in key Packaging projects for the company. * You will interact directly with the Quality Department after implementation of improvement projects, organizing measurements and performing statistical follow-up of results to ensure manufactured product quality. * You will be responsible for developing the action plan for outstanding items post-improvement implementation and act as the point of contact for the Operations Department to resolve these items. * You will analyze losses occurring during project execution to prevent recurrence in the future. **What Are We Looking For?** * Official university degree obtained within the last 3 years in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering. * Intermediate English level (First Certificate). * LEAN knowledge is desirable. * Availability to take up this one-year temporary position.
