Set tables according to event type and service standards. Answer guest questions regarding menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu-related inquiries, wait times, re-preparation requests, and product inventory. Relay guest special dietary requirements, allergies, restrictions, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transactions in the MICROS system at time of order. Confirm guest satisfaction with each meal course and beverage. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tableware, glassware, etc., throughout the day. Complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights. Present accurate physical invoices to guests and process payments. Comply with all company and safety/security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to management; complete safety training and certification. Maintain clean and professional uniforms and personal appearance; safeguard confidential information; protect company assets. Welcome and recognize all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist guests with disabilities; sincerely thank guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Build positive workplace relationships; support the team to achieve common goals; actively listen to and appropriately respond to other employees’ concerns.
