




Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced technical support professional to apply modern techniques and best practices to our monitoring applications and service platforms at Alarm Receiving Centers. Key Highlights: 1. Level 2 and 3 technical support for monitoring, access control, and video systems. 2. Ensure high availability (>99.999%) for security applications. 3. Work in an open, collaborative, and results-oriented team. **What You’ll Do** Do you have technical support experience? Join our team and help us apply modern techniques and best practices to our **monitoring applications and service platforms** (Fire/Security Alarms, Access Control, Video Surveillance) at our **Alarm Receiving Centers in Spain**. You will design and implement tools and automation to deploy, distribute, and manage the configuration of hundreds of servers. You will also support Cybersecurity initiatives, including vulnerability remediation, operating system and security application updates and patching, in compliance with JCI’s InfoSec policies and local legislation. **How You’ll Do It** * Provide **Level 2 and 3 technical support** for Monitoring, Access Control, and Video systems. * Ensure **high availability** and **uptime** (>99.999%) for security applications. * Manage **software enhancements and updates** (patches/upgrades), maintaining security standards and policies. * Identify and remediate IT vulnerabilities according to the **Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE)** database, recommending actions and rapidly mitigating risks. * Provide support to **field technicians and business stakeholders**. * Build or update **hardware and software components** of services. * Develop and maintain **deployment and automation processes**. * Manage system access following the **principle of least privilege**, revoking permissions when roles change. * Document product builds, implementations, and configuration changes. * Collaborate with InfoSec teams on strategies and processes for vulnerability remediation. * Coordinate with external vendors and business units to implement improvements, fixes, or escalations as needed. * Contribute as a highly qualified team member to strategic planning and execution. * Provide rapid response to on-call incidents. **What We’re Looking For** **Required** * IT knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining application environments. * Knowledge of virtualization, containers, and virtual environment management platforms. * Solid knowledge of networking, hosting, scripting, and databases. * Experience working in Windows server and client environments. * Proficiency in SQL and database querying. * Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills. * Fluency in Spanish and English at B1 level. * Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. * Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to vendors, colleagues, and non-technical audiences. * Team mindset with ability to collaborate cross-functionally. * Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule. * Valid driver’s license or reliable, nearby access to the office for emergency situations. **Preferred** * Technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE or equivalent, NSE, FCP). * In-depth knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Visio, Project, MSSQL Studio). * Experience with systems used in Customer Monitoring Centers (CMCs), such as MASterMind and video surveillance platforms. * Knowledge of surveillance and security technologies. * Experience with Linux environments. * Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms. **Our Culture** At Johnson Controls, you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting projects in today’s market.
