Hotel Laundry Operator

Description

We are looking for a Laundry Operator to join our team. The candidate must ensure that all guest room linens, restaurant table linens, and spa linens are in perfect condition regarding cleanliness, ironing, and hygiene to deliver an excellent experience to our guests. **Main responsibilities:** **\- Collection and sorting**: Receive soiled laundry from housekeeping and the restaurant, sorting it by type, color, and degree of soiling. **\- Washing and drying**: Operate industrial washing machines and dryers, applying appropriate wash programs and chemical products. **\- Industrial ironing**: Use the calender to quickly and efficiently iron sheets, pillowcases, and tablecloths. **\- Folding and distribution**: Fold clean linens and organize stock on trolleys to facilitate housekeeping staff’s work. **\- Quality control**: Identify stained or damaged items for rejection, removal, or re-washing. **Minimum requirements:** **\- Experience**: Prior experience in hotel, hospital, or industrial laundry is highly valued. **\- Skills**: Ability to perform physical labor and work standing while maintaining an agile pace. **\- Attitude**: Responsible, meticulous, punctual, and capable of teamwork. **\- Availability**: Flexible working hours to cover shifts, including weekends and public holidays according to hotel occupancy.
