Description

The position involves operating continuous dry-process mills, which are essential in the ceramic industry for producing base materials. Responsibilities focus on formulating and processing fundamental raw materials, including preparing atomized white-firing slips intended for tile bodies, as well as stoneware and porcelain products. Additionally, it entails comprehensive management of grinding and packaging operations for key components such as feldspars, quartzes, and sands—materials that serve as the foundation for manufacturing high-quality ceramic slips, frits, and glazes. Another critical aspect of the role is supervising and executing clay and kaolin blends, both in bulk and packaged formats, subsequently used in formulating slips, engobes, and glazes. This process demands meticulous attention to production parameters to ensure consistency and the required technical properties in final products. The work environment is dynamic and situated within an industrial sector demanding precision and practical knowledge of milling operations. The operator will join a dedicated team responsible for maintaining production standards, directly contributing to the local and national ceramic industry’s supply chain. The function is technical and operational, requiring in-depth understanding of equipment and processes involved in transforming mineral raw materials. The company offers the possibility of stable employment with availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends as required by production needs. Job stability is provided within an established industrial environment. Specific working hours and shift arrangements will be detailed in the employment contract, aligned with the plant’s operational planning. At least one year of demonstrable experience operating continuous dry-process mills within the industrial sector is required. A valid forklift license must be held and maintained, along with proven practical experience operating front-end loaders. The candidate must have completed compulsory secondary education as the minimum academic qualification.
