QHSE/ Logistics Engineer
**The role**
We are actively looking for a QHSE and Logistics Engineer to help launch a new warehouse site in Torija. This is a brand new role that will be making sure that the site complies will all relevant QHSE legislation as well as analysing operation activities on site to identify and implement improvements.
As part of the QHSE role you will work with the regional head office and local site operations team to maintain and improve HSE standards. You will coach and train new employees and managers in safe working practices, investigate accidents documenting them and then reducing risk to mitigate any future reoccurrence.
You will also maintain DP World accreditation of the quality and safety management systems and prepare, distribute and update all relevant safety documentation on site. You will also review risk assessments and be the local champion to promote the DP World Safety First culture.
As part of the logistics engineer part of the role you will support the development and delivery of long term engineering strategies. You will work with other departments in the plant to help deliver plant projects which will include IT, management and operations.
**So, who are we looking for?**
Key skills and experience include:
* Previous experience of working in a QHSE role in a warehouse or manufacturing site
* A strong understanding of local HSE legislation
