**Objective**

At SODePAZ, we work for social justice, human rights, and international cooperation. We are seeking a person to assume the Executive Director position of the organization, with strategic leadership, social commitment, and experience in international cooperation.
CONDITIONS
* Position: Management of the organization
* Contract: Permanent, with a one-year probationary period.
* Working hours: Full-time
* Remuneration: As per collective agreement, indicated in the salary field
* Work modality: On-site, with partial telework
* Mobility: Local and international travel
PROFILE WE ARE SEEKING
Education
* University degree, preferably with specialization in Development Cooperation, Humanitarian Action, or Human Rights.
* Additional training in gender equality, environmental sustainability, or food sovereignty will be valued.
Professional Experience
* 5\-10 years of experience in international cooperation.
* Experience in managing international projects and political advocacy at local and European levels.
* Experience working with vulnerable communities.
* Experience in intercultural settings and participatory processes.
* Relevant experience in team leadership.
* Field experience (Africa, Latin America, Asia, etc.).
* Experience collaborating with NGOs and sector platforms.
Technical Knowledge
* Project cycle management, applying logical framework and theory of change approaches.
* Regulations on human rights, international cooperation, public procurement, and social economy.
* Accessing and managing international funding (EU, UN, cooperation agencies).
* Social impact evaluation.
* Strategic planning and financial management capabilities.
Other Technical Knowledge (desirable)
* Proficiency in platforms for organizing databases and project management, and for coordinating tasks.
* Ability to interpret metrics on fundraising, project impact, and web traffic for strategic decision-making.
Languages
* Fluent English, advanced level (C1\).
* French or other languages will be valued.
Other Requirements
* Residence in Madrid.
* Availability for national and international travel.
* Driver's license (desirable).

**Profile:**

Between 5 and 10 years of experience in international cooperation. Experience in managing international projects and political advocacy at local and European levels. Experience working with vulnerable communities, in intercultural settings, and in participatory processes. Minimum five years of experience in team leadership and fieldwork (Africa, Latin America, Asia, etc.). Experience collaborating with NGOs and sector platforms.
Knowledge of project cycle management (logical framework and theory of change), regulations on human rights and international cooperation, public procurement and social economy, accessing and managing international funding (EU, UN, cooperation agencies), social impact evaluation, and strategic planning.
Proficiency in project and database management platforms, and ability to interpret fundraising and impact metrics will be valued.
Fluent English (minimum C1\). French or other languages will be valued.
Residence in Madrid, availability for national and international travel, and driver's license (desirable).
