Mechanical Fitter

Description

Mechanical fitter with industrial sector experience to work in Burgos. Responsibilities include assembly and adjustment of assemblies and machinery, threading, deburring and polishing, assembly and disassembly of hydraulic and pneumatic components, preventive and corrective maintenance, interpretation of engineering drawings, and handling of technical documentation. Operates slotting machines, surface grinders, thread cutting machines, and drilling machines, as well as performing quality control and dimensional measurement of parts. Requires knowledge of lead screws, linear guides, bearings, pulleys, and motors. Permanent contract, full-time. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:45–16:00; reduced hours in July and August: 07:00–15:15; Fridays from May to September: 08:00–14:00\. Continuous training and a positive working environment in Burgos. Vocational training at Intermediate or Advanced Level in Machining. Additional training in overhead crane operation, lathe and milling machine use, as well as TIG and MIG welding will be valued. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a mechanical fitter is required. Solid knowledge of mechanical fitting and ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
