




Job Summary: An NDT professional with experience in the aerospace sector, responsible for performing inspections, defining procedures, and maintaining the NDT system. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the execution and validation of non-destructive testing (NDT). 2. Develop new NDT and metrology techniques. 3. Ensure material integrity in aerospace manufacturing. **Job Description:** As an NDT Performer, according to your qualification level, you will: * Perform the relevant non-destructive testing (NDT) method, including preparation and closure via certification. * Define and validate NDT procedures, such as non-destructive inspection for cracks, corrosion, delamination, or other harmful effects (e.g., using X-ray, ultrasonics, penetrants, magnetic particles, eddy currents, thermography). * Organize and maintain a qualified and certified NDT system and/or develop new NDT and metrology techniques. * Support non-conformance management, FMEA, root cause analysis, etc., through your NDT expertise. Key Deliverables: * NDT Personnel and Equipment Qualification/Certification * NDT Inspection Procedures * NDT Test Reports * NDT Plan * NDT Supervision Key Responsibilities: * To ensure part/material integrity according to Design requirements, and to establish the composition of the tested part/material. * To qualify, maintain, and develop the NDT system in accordance with international NDT standards. * Both may be requested by Program Quality Assurance, Stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Materials & Processes), and/or Customers or Authorities. Requirements: * Professional with over one year of demonstrable experience performing non-destructive testing (NDT) in the aerospace component manufacturing sector. * Mandatory certification at Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) according to EN4179\. * Ability to perform required ultrasonic tests as defined in the corresponding test method description document (NDT Levels 1 and 2\), including: \- Knowledge of specific health and * safety guidelines for ultrasonic testing. * Ability to perform ultrasonic testing (including autonomy to request support). * Ability to provide a clear and comprehensive ultrasonic report to support conformity decisions. * Ability to define and write relevant ultrasonic testing instructions. * Experience in tap coin inspection of bonded structures and/or composite material components. * Ability to interpret drawings, instructions, procedures, and/or standards to determine part/component conformity. * Basic knowledge of metrology. Identify tools subject to periodic calibration. * Identify tools whose validity has expired. * Two-shift work. * Willingness to travel.
