From the **HORTICULTURAL** business unit, we are seeking **Laboratory Assistant** profiles located at the Biotechnology Center in **Cabrera de Mar**, with hiring conducted **through a Temporary Employment Agency (TEA)** to cover our production campaigns. Vacancies are available for the periods of **June to October**, and/or **April/May to December**. **The Biotechnology Center** The position is integrated within our **Cabrera de Mar Biotechnology Center**, a technical and productive environment that directly supports the company’s genetic improvement programs. The center comprises three specialized laboratories: * **Cellular Biology** (in vitro culture and production of double haploid plants) * **Molecular Applications** (molecular markers, pathology diagnosis, and genetic analysis) * **Pathology** (evaluation of plant material) The selected candidate will work transversally across the various laboratories according to planning and production needs, promoting versatility and continuous learning. **What Will Be Your Responsibilities?** * Technical support in executing laboratory protocols across different center areas. * Handling of plant material, greenhouse work, and microbiological work under controlled conditions. * Work under aseptic conditions (laminar flow hood). * Support in molecular techniques (DNA extraction, PCR, etc.). * Collaboration in pathology bioassays. * Preparation, dispensing, and control of culture media. * Basic maintenance of equipment and materials. * Management of stocks of common reagents. * Coding and registration of biological material. * Basic interpretation of results and reporting to laboratory supervisors. * Organization and maintenance of facilities (laboratories and growth chambers). **We know you’ll do an excellent job—so we’ve designed these benefits for you…** * Positive work environment and collaborative team. * Initial training and continuous learning in laboratory techniques. * Practical experience in a technical environment conducive to professional development. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. REQUIREMENTS **What Profile Are We Seeking?** You are the talent we’re looking for if: * You hold an Advanced Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS / FP2) in Laboratory Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields. * You have at least 1 year of laboratory experience. * Experience in diagnostic techniques (PCR, ELISA), in vitro culture, handling of microbiological cultures, or sterile working conditions is desirable. * You possess intermediate proficiency in office software tools. * You are a native Spanish speaker (B2 English level is desirable). * You are an organized, rigorous individual with strong attention to detail. * You adapt well to technical environments with defined protocols and teamwork.
