Geotechnical Drilling Assistant

At SOCOTEC Spain, we are looking to hire a **Geotechnical Drilling Assistant** to support the execution of geotechnical and ground engineering projects. Your mission will be to assist the driller in fieldwork, contributing to the safe, high-quality, and timely completion of drilling operations and in-situ tests. **Main responsibilities** * Assist the driller in carrying out geotechnical drilling, boreholes, and in-situ tests. * Collaborate in site preparation and positioning of machinery and work equipment. * Perform loading, unloading, control, and logistical support tasks for materials and equipment. * Operate, inspect, and carry out basic maintenance of drilling machinery, tools, and equipment, reporting any incidents. * Assist in completing work reports and recording performed activities. * Maintain order and cleanliness at the worksite and for used equipment. * Comply with quality, safety, health, and environmental procedures, correctly using PPE and safety devices. * Participate in training activities and contribute to identifying improvements in work processes. **Competencies and skills** * Teamwork and camaraderie. * Proactivity and ability to learn. * Orderliness, cleanliness, and attention to detail. * Communication of problems or incidents. * Orientation toward safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
