Join the team of **Environmental Educators**, and **become part of the Maresme Integrated Waste Valorisation Centre**, a leading facility in waste management. Under the motto **“Recycling and Energy”**, it serves as a **European reference centre**, both in waste treatment and energy generation.* **Where will you work?** Maresme Integrated Waste Valorisation Centre (Carrer de la Teixidora, 83, 08302 Mataró (Barcelona)). * **What type of contract do we offer?** Fixed-term discontinuous contract. * **Salary:** €21,805.57 gross per year. * **What will your working hours and schedule be?** Immediate start until 22 June 2026. * You will work part-time (12 hours) from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 13:30, varying according to scheduled visits. Occasionally, you will also work weekday afternoons and weekends. ### **What will you do on a day-to-day basis?** Once you join our Education team, in the **Environmental Education area**, your challenges and responsibilities will include: * Raising awareness and **sensitizing visitors** about environmental issues related to waste and the importance of proper waste management and its impact on the environment. * Facilitating **visits and workshops** for different audiences, primarily school groups (primary, compulsory secondary education [ESO], baccalaureate, and vocational training cycles). * Ensuring a warm **welcome** and **farewell** for your **group**. * Distributing **evaluation questionnaires** to the group and assessing the activities carried out. * Providing support in **report writing**. * Communicating and managing incidents. * Attending **internal coordination meetings**. Monitoring stock levels of consumable materials required to carry out activities. * ### **What are we looking for in you?** To successfully undertake this new challenge, we are seeking a person who brings the following knowledge, experience, and competencies to the team. *Keep reading to find out whether you are the person our team needs!* Your ideal academic background to successfully perform these tasks is: Bachelor’s degree or Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Geology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Environmental Education and Control, or similar. * Prior experience in similar environmental education projects delivered to children or families, and/or collaboration in leisure-related activities will be valued. * Strong command of Catalan (C1), Spanish, and **English** **(B2)**. * A certificate confirming no criminal record for sexual offences. * **Flexibility** **in working hours**. * To access your workplace, you must hold a driving licence (category B1) and have **your own vehicle**. * Reside **near Mataró** or have good connectivity with the Maresme region. **Your competencies and skills** *We would like you to bring the following to the team:** Proactive and dynamic attitude. * Initiative. * Interest in and orientation towards sustainability. * Identification with and commitment to the organization. * Emotional intelligence and assertive communication. * Teamwork and cooperation. * Flexibility and adaptability to change. * Critical thinking and scientific rigour. ### **What does it mean to work at Anthesis?** It means becoming part of a **B Corp™ certified consultancy**, where sustainability is not just a word but a daily action.
