Description
The position involves ensuring maximum availability and safety of industrial machinery and critical plant facilities. Inspections and repairs are carried out on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, covering equipment such as washing tunnels, centrifugal washers, dryers, and automatic folding systems. The role requires analytical ability to diagnose faults and attention to detail to guarantee continuous operation while complying with all safe operating protocols.
Another key responsibility is supervising fluid systems and steam boilers, essential for hygiene processes. Critical areas are also controlled through preventive maintenance on autoclaves and equipment in the sterilization zone. This includes managing automation systems and performing diagnostics on PLCs, as well as supervising automated internal transport lines. Knowledge of electrical automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and the ability to interpret technical drawings are required.
Additionally, sustainability efforts are supported by supervising water and energy recovery systems, applying strict safety and hygiene protocols to prevent cross-contamination. Required qualifications include a Higher Vocational Training Cycle in Electromechanical Maintenance, Automation, or a related field. Prior experience in industrial environments with stringent hygiene standards is valued. The schedule is a fixed afternoon shift, with a competitive salary package.
A Higher Vocational Training qualification (FP Grado Superior) in Electromechanical Maintenance, Automation and Industrial Robotics, or Thermal and Fluid Systems Maintenance is required. Technical knowledge in electrical automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and interpretation of electrical schematics and diagrams is mandatory. Holding a boiler operator license is considered a plus. Minimum 2\-3 years of industrial maintenance experience; prior experience in industrial laundries, the pharmaceutical, healthcare, chemical, or food sectors is highly valued. Key competencies include analytical ability for fault diagnosis under pressure, attention to detail, technical rigor, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. Catalan language proficiency at C1 level. Knowledge of electronic invoicing. Two years of experience.
