





Project Details **Client:** Leading company in the Chemical Manufacturing industry **Location:** Huelva (Spain) **Work Mode:** 100% on\-site **Start:** ASAP **Duration:** Project\-based (extensions possible) **Languages:** Fluent English required; Spanish preferred **Team Context:** Daily interaction with project, construction, HSE and operations teams **Contract Type:** External / Freelance Summary A leading company in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is reinforcing its Construction Management team in Huelva and is looking for an experienced Construction Coordinator (Mechanical \& Piping) to support the execution phase of an industrial project. The role focuses on daily field supervision, multi\-contractor coordination, safety compliance (PTW, SIMOPS), planning follow\-up and the correct execution of mechanical and piping activities. This includes installation, testing, mechanical completion and support to pre\-commissioning. Main Responsibilities Supervise on\-site mechanical and piping construction activities, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, quality and HSE procedures. Coordinate multiple contractors simultaneously, managing work\-fronts, interfaces and daily priorities. Ensure proper implementation of PTW, SIMOPS and safety standards in an operating plant environment. Oversee installation, alignment, testing (hydro/pneumatic), and mechanical completion activities. Collaborate closely with Project Management, HSE, Operations and QA/QC. Control progress, contribute to daily and weekly reports, and support planning alignment. Manage punch lists, documentation and support pre\-commissioning and handover stages. Experience Required 10\+ years of experience in industrial construction supervision. 5\+ years in on\-site coordination of mechanical and piping works. Strong background in large industrial facilities (chemical, petrochemical, energy, oil \& gas, heavy industry). Experience in brownfield/operating\-plant environments and PTW systems. Proven ability to coordinate multiple contractors in parallel. Experience with installation, piping erection, testing and mechanical completion. Education Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). Additional training in construction safety or PTW systems is a plus.
