We aim to hire a **Sheet Metal Folder** to strengthen our production team. **Main Responsibilities:** \-Configure and operate press brakes to bend and shape metal plates and sheets. \-Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine specifications required for each task. \-Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings for each folding operation. (SMED) \-Place metal plates and sheets onto the press brake and align them precisely according to specified dimensions. \-Adjust machine parameters—such as speed, pressure, and depth—to ensure accurate metal folding and forming. \-Monitor press brake operation and perform necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. **Required Skills:** \-Proficiency in operating press brakes and knowledge of metal sheets. \-Coordination and manual dexterity for handling sheets, plus familiarity with various folding techniques. \-Attention to detail and ability to ensure precision and accuracy in all folding and forming tasks. Requirements ✔ Minimum **1–2 years’ experience as a sheet metal folder** or in a similar role. ✔ Knowledge of **blueprint interpretation and measurement** (calipers, squares, etc.). ✔ Experience with **CNC press brakes** is desirable. ✔ Ability to work in a team and attention to detail. ✔ Training in **mechanical manufacturing, boiler-making, or metallurgy** is an advantage.
