The position offers a stable professional opportunity within a highly technical, collaborative, and demanding environment, with potential for internal growth and active participation in improvement projects. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Define and perform assays according to sample type and origin, following priorities set by the Supervisor. * Monitor variables affecting the final quality of analyzed products. * Organize laboratory tasks and maintain the temporary sample storage area according to established deadlines. * Prepare and update the inventory of laboratory equipment, instruments, and consumables. * Place orders via the system (SAP/JDE), monitor minimum stock levels, and generate issue vouchers for reagents and PPE. * Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of analytical equipment. * Identify technical failures and propose corrective actions or investments in new equipment. * Generate monthly reports for internal and external samples. * Compare analytical methods for monthly metallic content calculations. * Report incidents to the Plant Manager. * Participate in updating operational procedures and safety protocols. * Train and support new technicians and laboratory personnel. * Coordinate with other departments: geology, plant operations, environment, safety, HR. * Collaborate with the concentrates technician when key parameter deviations occur. * Provide administrative and operational support to the laboratory supervisor. * Substitute for the supervisor during absences or vacation periods, assuming responsibility for shift handovers and team management.
