Are you the kind of person who knows that skill matters more than strength during assembly? We are looking for a professional assembler who understands that erecting a stand is not merely about carrying materials. It involves interpreting technical drawings, resolving unforeseen issues, carefully handling finishes, and mastering the order of every box and every pallet so that everything fits together perfectly. LOCATION Madrid (IFEMA and various event venues). WORK SCHEDULE Full-time / Trade fair campaigns (flexible working hours required). WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH US? Complete assembly and disassembly of all types of stands: from modular and simple systems to large customized structures involving design, carpentry, and complex metalwork. Basic installation and connection of lighting, wiring, junction boxes, and audiovisual elements within the stand. On-site logistics and organization: receiving goods, intelligent unpacking, pallet management, storage of packaging boxes, and strict ordering during assembly to optimize disassembly. Reading and interpretation of technical drawings, elevations, furniture component diagrams, and layout plans. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU? Proven experience: Experience in temporary installations, trade fairs, congresses, events, or carpentry/metalworking for commercial installations. Problem-solving and attention to detail: Ability to work precisely, caring for final finishes (signage application, joint cleaning, touch-up painting, etc.). We highly value candidates who own their own basic toolkit or tool case, including hand tools and a battery-powered screwdriver (please confirm this in your application). Desirable: Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) course for the metal or construction sector (6h or 20h), valid driver’s license (Class B), and proficiency in operating auxiliary machinery (e.g., platforms, forklifts).
