Job Description

It comprises a team of over 4\.700 professionals who provide daily support to 5\.100 individuals facing social vulnerability, aiming to improve their well-being and quality of life. We operate across more than 150 centers and services covering mental health, neurorehabilitation, elderly care, dependency, social emergencies, homelessness, child protection, and social education.
Currently, we are seeking a SAMUR SOCIAL professional to join our Social Worker team based in Madrid.
WHAT WILL YOU DO DAILY?
* Operational responsibility both on the mobile response unit during service delivery and at various locations and situations (short-stay units, communications room, case follow-up spaces, etc.) where you carry out your professional duties, complying with the service’s operational procedures and instructions issued by the Central Communications Room or under guidance from the relevant management—represented by the entity’s technical coordinator, coordination assistants, or intermediate supervisors (shift leads).
* Responsibility for individual and group social assessment and intervention with service users.
* Responsibility for user assistance.
* Completion of all reports requested by the relevant management.
* Accurate completion of assistance reports, both manually and electronically, safeguarding them during working hours.
* Exemplary, appropriate, and courteous treatment of users and all parties involved in interventions.
* Responsibility for informing family members about the user’s situation and your actions.
* Responsibility for transferring the user and related social case information—both verbally and in writing—to the receiving center.
* Conducting follow-up tasks for individuals accommodated in various shelter facilities and other housing arrangements (residences, guesthouses, hotel placements, etc.).
* Performing duties in the Central Communications Room when required.
* Supervising and supporting auxiliary social service staff in carrying out their functions.
* Adhering to the service’s quality policy by reporting deviations or inappropriate procedures affecting service performance to the immediate supervisor.
* Engaging with media outlets only upon authorization from the entity’s relevant management and prior approval from municipal authorities responsible. All activities are carried out under the supervision, direction, and control of the entity’s responsible personnel.
* Collaborating in research and teaching projects approved by the competent bodies of the Service.
* Attending mandatory continuous training sessions organized by the Service.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
* Minimum six months’ experience in social emergency intervention.

Schedule: Morning shift. Monday to Sunday, including weekends on a rotating basis. 7:00 – 14:39 H
Contract: Indefinite.
Working Hours: Full-time
Salary: As per collective agreement
