Beyond technical knowledge, **we especially value functional experience, analytical capability, structured requirements gathering, and competence in designing solutions aligned with business needs.** **This is a hybrid position based in Madrid, requiring approximately one day per week on-site at the client’s office in Madrid.** **Key Responsibilities** * Define, design, and evolve advanced, robust, and scalable software architectures. * Provide technical leadership for teams and projects, ensuring adherence to best architectural practices. * Serve as the primary point of contact with the client, ensuring fluent, rigorous, and value-driven communication. * Lead functional and non-functional requirements gathering and analysis. * Design target architectures and technology evolution strategies. * Drive innovation initiatives, participating in technical forums, events, communities, or publications. * Develop and mentor technical teams, promoting best practices, quality standards, and a culture of excellence. * Ensure the quality, security, observability, and maintainability of solutions. **Candidate Requirements** * Demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect in consulting or multi-project environments. * Extensive experience in: + Functional analysis and requirements gathering. + End-to-end solution design. * Solid knowledge of: + Architectural patterns and hexagonal architecture. + SOLID principles. + Microservices / nanoservices, serverless, and EDA (Event-Driven Architecture). * Experience in: + Migration from monolithic to microservice architectures. + Message queues and event platforms. + Architectural-level security (authentication, authorization, identity). + Solution observability (logs, metrics, traces). * Mandatory proficiency in: + Spring Framework and the Java ecosystem. + API Management, REST/SOAP, and service APIfication. + Decoupling strategies and monolith decomposition. + Security: JWT, OAuth, SAML, Identity Management. + JavaScript architectures (Angular, React…). * Experience in: + DevOps / Continuous Delivery. + Software quality and agile methodologies. + SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle…) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis…). + Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. + BI / Big Data. **What We Offer** * Permanent contract * Holidays: 22 days of vacation \+ 2 flexible days, plus December 24th and 31st as additional free days. * Flexible compensation: Meal card, childcare voucher, private health insurance, training, and other tax-advantaged benefits. * Benefits Club: Discounts on technology, leisure, and training. * Continuous training: Access to Udemy Business, language courses, official certifications, and technical training. * Career development plan: Support for growth, specialization, or taking on new challenges. * Holistic wellbeing: Nutrition, physical activity, and emotional balance programs. * Work-life balance \+ LIFE: 24/7 personal and family assistance. * Inclusive environment: Diverse and multicultural workplace.
