Position Information * **Position:** Junior Network Engineer * **Contract Type:** Contractor / Freelancer * **Salary:** USD 2\.000 per month * **Work Model:** Hybrid * **Willingness to Travel:** 0% to 30%, depending on client and project requirements. \[Synergy\_Ad...cription 1 \| Word] Required Languages * **Spanish C2 (required)** * **English B2/C1 (required)** Responsibilities * Support the administration and maintenance of enterprise network environments. * Assist in the configuration and monitoring of routing, switching, wireless networking, and VPN technologies. * Provide technical support for daily operational activities. * Diagnose and resolve basic to intermediate network incidents. * Participate in infrastructure implementation, migration, and enhancement projects. * Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, support, and consulting teams. * Escalate complex incidents by providing appropriate technical documentation and context. * Document configurations, procedures, diagrams, and operational activities. * Prepare technical reports and customer documentation. * Support pre-sales activities by preparing documentation and inventories. * Participate in customer onboarding, implementation, and knowledge transfer processes. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and service optimization. Requirements Academic Background * Final-semester student, technician, technologist, or recently graduated professional in: * Systems Engineering * Telecommunications Engineering * Computer Engineering * Information Technologies * Networks and Communications * Related fields Candidates with hands-on experience gained through internships, academic labs, or networking projects will also be considered. Experience * Minimum 6 months of experience in: * Technical support * Infrastructure * Network operations * Help Desk * Professional internships * Networking-related projects Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, technical documentation, or network configuration review will be valued. Technical Knowledge * Fundamentals of Routing & Switching. * TCP/IP protocols. * DNS and DHCP. * Basic concepts of VPN. * Fundamentals of network security. * Wireless networks. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Commitment to continuous learning and technical development. Desirable Requirements * CCNA certification completed or in progress. * Cisco Networking Academy. * Entry-level networking certifications. * Microsoft Fundamentals or cloud fundamentals certifications. * Basic knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP. * Experience with monitoring tools. * Basic knowledge of automation or scripting.
