For our CIO/COO business area based in Madrid, we are currently seeking to hire, with immediate effect, a **Data Governance Analyst (m/f/d)** =================================== **Your tasks** -------------- * End\-to\-End Data Lineage: Document and enhance transparent "Source\-to\-Report" data flows using central governance tools * Process Optimization: Identify and resolve structural gaps, inconsistencies, and manual steps within complex data chains * Technical Data Management: Develop SQL queries and support the modeling of relational and logical data structures * Cross\-Functional Interface: Act as the key liaison between Risk, Finance, and IT to translate business requirements into data standards * Regulatory Compliance \& Quality: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., BCBS 239\) and resolve data quality issues along the lineage **How to convince us** ---------------------- * Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative field * 2–5\+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management or Reporting within a regulated financial institution * Solid understanding of banking regulations, specifically BCBS 239 (RDARR), and general data management standards like DAMA * Proven experience in data flow modeling and analysis, ideally within governance or regulatory frameworks * Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus * Strong structured thinking and high precision in translating complex business requirements into technical data architectures * Clear stakeholder management skills combined with a genuine passion for data governance and regulatory frameworks **Our values** -------------- We live our values and expect the same attitude from our employees.
