**Job Description:** We are seeking a Senior Mission Simulation Engineer to join our team at Airbus Defence and Space SAU. This role involves the design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex mission simulators, contributing to the validation and verification of advanced aerospace systems. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Design, develop, and implement mission simulation models for complex aerospace systems, including aircraft and spacecraft. * Lead the integration of subsystems within simulation environments, ensuring interoperability and performance. * Conduct comprehensive simulator testing to ensure accuracy, fidelity, and compliance with operational requirements. * Identify and resolve technical issues, optimizing simulation performance and stability. * Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including systems, software, and hardware engineers. * Participate in defining simulation architectures and selecting appropriate technologies. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation development processes and methodologies. * Provide technical support and training to simulator users. * Document simulation design, implementation, and results. **SKILLS** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing and testing mission simulators or real\-time systems within the aerospace or defense industry. * Strong experience with programming languages such as C\+\+. * In\-depth knowledge of simulation architectures, physical modeling, and system integration techniques. * Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, etc.) and development environments. * Familiarity with real\-time operating systems and data communication protocols. * Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and lead technical projects. * Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. * Advanced level of Spanish and English (spoken and written). * Knowledge of aerospace industry standards (e.g., ARINC, DO\-178C, DO\-254\) will be considered an asset. * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required. **WHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?** At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
