Umivale Activa, a collaborating mutual insurer of the Social Security system that guarantees advisory services to companies and assistance in protecting workers, requires a **Technical Indicator Specialist** in its Management Control Department in **Madrid** (Poeta Joan Maragall\-31, 28020\). Among other responsibilities, and reporting directly to the line manager, the candidate will be responsible for the following functions: **Data Analysis and Validation**: * Preparation of financial and management reports. * Definition and monitoring of indicators related to economic benefits, healthcare services, and any other expenses relevant to the mutual insurer’s management. * Performance indicators at various levels, establishment of objectives, monitoring, and proposal of actions to achieve them. * Participation in drafting the mutual insurer’s strategic plan. * Analysis of claims frequency and its financial impact. * Development and automation of reports using advanced Excel and Power BI tools. * Optimization of control and reporting processes. * Identification of opportunities for improvement in internal processes. * Support in defining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). * Collaboration with various departments to ensure achievement of financial objectives. * Coordination with the Technology Division to enhance information systems. * Assistance to Management **Cost Control and Analysis by Service and Project**: * Monitoring and analysis of revenues and expenditures; preparation of profit-and-loss statements; expense tracking by responsible person and by origin. * Annual budget monitoring, variance analysis, and proposals for corrective action. * Analysis of variances between budgeted and actual figures. * Reporting potential variances to respective managers and proposing possible solutions to correct them. **WHAT WE OFFER** * Permanent employment contract. * Full-time schedule of 1,692 annual working hours. * Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8\-3 PM, plus two afternoons per week (one until 6 PM and another until 7 PM). * 27 working days of vacation per year. * Flexible compensation: childcare vouchers, public transport vouchers, and health insurance. * Initial and ongoing training, supporting professional development. **EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Advanced-level Excel proficiency (a level test will be administered) and Power BI knowledge.
