This function must ensure that data becomes a scalable and strategic asset for AI adoption across the *Corporate & Investment Banking* area. Integrated within CIB’s *AI Transformation* organization and aligned with the Group’s global *Data for AI* discipline, this role will be instrumental in enabling the next generation of AI-driven capabilities, including GenAI solutions, intelligent assistants, AI agents, automation platforms, and cloud-native data architectures. **About the job:** The role will participate in data engineering, availability, and quality: * Participate in data acquisition, ingestion, processing, and delivery through CIB’s information platforms in close coordination with *AI Tech* teams. * Ensure efficient, scalable, and cost-effective data engineering practices. * Establish robust controls and monitoring mechanisms to guarantee data quality, reliability, and readiness for AI consumption. * Monitor the operational health, resilience, and performance of the data ecosystem supporting CIB’s analytical and AI workloads. **Key responsibilities:** * Technical leadership in managing demand from portfolio projects, transformation, and evolution of CIB’s *Analytics, Data & AI* Platform (ADA), identifying issues and devising innovative solutions using best practices and available technologies, and participating in execution of strategic plans. * Technical leadership in data handling for projects related to CIB’s ADA datasets, participating in: + Definition and validation of logical and physical data models for data ingestion. + Implementation of data quality rules. + Definition and development of the data lifecycle—from origin, through processing, to consumption. * Contribution to data ingestion and processing projects on CIB’s ADA platform, sourced from internal (Host, Teradata, legacy systems, logs, distributed sources, etc.) or external origins, both in batch and streaming modes: + Translate functional requirements into technical specifications, interacting with senior profiles across *Engineering* domains (*Tech Leads*, Architecture, Security), business units, and CIB efficiency areas. + Manage and supervise internal and external resource teams, overseeing developments and ingestions performed. + Ensure timely delivery of outputs meeting quality standards, compliance with architectural solution models, security requirements, and maximum reuse of components. + Interact with various teams involved in the data lifecycle (*AI Transformation*, *AI Tech*) and other projects, ensuring adherence to development standards. **Candidate profile:** * Knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Big Data, AI technologies and architectures, and associated business concepts within BBVA’s data ecosystems, with focus on CIB data. * Passionate about emerging technologies, challenges, and innovation. * Committed to achieving objectives and fully engaged in projects you participate in. * Enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams. * Value contributing your perspective and having it considered in project decision-making. * Identify creative solutions for infrequent or complex problems. * Capable of making technically informed decisions in a dynamic environment. * Align with BBVA’s Purpose and Values. **Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering (e.g., Telecommunications), Mathematics, or equivalent; or Higher Vocational Training in Application Development. * Minimum 4 years of experience managing end-to-end projects with frequent interaction with Architecture and Security teams. * Experience in Analytics, AI, and ETL projects for *Data, Business Intelligence, or Reporting*. * Prior experience with ADA and/or functional and technical knowledge of the CIB area is desirable. * Familiarity with web technology development is recommended. * Knowledge of Agile methodologies for efficient and synchronized project execution. * Analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively, results-oriented mindset, initiative, autonomy, and innovation. * Adaptability to evolving goals and ways of working. * Intermediate-to-advanced English level (B2 or higher). **Skills:** ADA, ADA, Amazon Athena, Amazon Quicksight, Amazon SageMaker, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Atlassian Bitbucket, AWS-Amazon Q, AWS-Glue DataBrew, AWS-Glue Studio, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting, ChatGPT, Data Analysis, Data Dictionary, Data ETL, Dataframes, Data Functional Governance Model, Data Governance tools, Data Ingestion, Data Lake, Data Layer, Data Lifecycle, Data Quality Model, Data Storage {\+ 13 adicionales}
