About Tétris
Tétris is a subsidiary of JLL, a global real estate services firm offering extensive sector expertise, including property management, transaction, and advisory services to investors and tenants locally, regionally, and globally.
This business line within JLL has grown across EMEA since its inception following two acquisitions—in Spain (2006) and France (2007)—to its current presence in 15 countries, where it delivers office, hotel, and retail space renovation projects. Tétris continues to grow and has become the leading provider of interior design and construction services in the EMEA region.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Tétris Construction Department in Spain. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and scale a key business area, leveraging JLL/Tétris’s global expertise while adapting it to the Spanish market.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Strategic Leadership:**
* Lead construction activities in Spain
* Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth
* Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to ensure seamless integration of services
**Team Development:**
* Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
**Client and Project Management:**
* Manage relationships with high-profile clients and complex construction projects
* Oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, and quality parameters
* Implement best practices from JLL’s global network
* Develop and refine operational processes and procedures for the construction practice
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and JLL/Tétris’s global quality criteria
* Drive adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies in project execution
**Cross-Departmental Collaboration:**
* Work closely with the Project Management team to identify synergies and opportunities for integrated service delivery
* Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Business Development, Finance, Legal) to support overall business growth
* Serve as a bridge between the Construction practice and other service lines within Tétris and JLL
**Financial Management:**
* Develop and manage budgets for the Construction Management practice
* Ensure project profitability
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth
**Industry Leadership:**
* Represent Tétris and JLL at industry events and forums
* Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in construction
**Risk Management:**
* Develop and implement risk management strategies
* Ensure appropriate contract management and dispute resolution processes are in place
* Protect the company’s interests while maintaining positive client relationships
**Requirements:**
* Degree in Engineering or related field
* Minimum 15–20 years of experience in the construction sector
* In-depth knowledge of Spanish construction regulations and market practices
* Strong project management and leadership skills
* Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English
* Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and BIM technology
