YOUR ROLE Our CEVA Freight team has an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Handling Operations Administrator Iberia (Customs Operations Officer) to join our operations in Pinto. In this key role, you will be responsible for the efficient processing and management of customs clearance files via our platform, ensuring smooth import, export, and transit operations within a multimodal environment (air, ocean, and road transport). Reporting directly to the area manager (Hiring Manager), you will comprehensively manage customs clearance tasks in a multi-client, fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities will include: **Customs Clearance Management:** Preparation, processing, and management of the Single Administrative Document (SAD) for both import and export operations. **Data Entry and Systems:** Accurately entering required service information manually into the company’s management software or customs systems. **Transit and Special Sector Processing:** Assigning and coordinating services for transit operations, managing specific requirements for sectors such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food, and others. **Proactive Task Management:** Continuously monitoring the work platform, selecting, self-assigning, and efficiently closing tasks autonomously. **Communication with Clients and Stakeholders:** Keeping status updates current on the platform and sending confirmation of customs clearance completion to the relevant client or stakeholder. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? To succeed in this position, we seek a profile combining technical customs expertise and a proactive attitude: **Education:** Vocational Training Level I / II (FPI/FPII), Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree. **Experience:** 2–3 years of demonstrable experience in customs environments. **Technical Skills (Hard Skills):** Proficiency in SAD management, customs regulations, and experience in multimodal operations (approximately 33% air, 33% ocean, and 33% road). Prior experience in logistics-sector companies is a plus. **Languages:** Native or fluent Spanish. A good level of English (spoken and written) is a plus. **Competencies (Soft Skills):** Customer orientation, proactivity, strong results orientation, and a high degree of autonomy. For this position, we offer: **Contract Type:** Temporary replacement contract (due to temporary incapacity \+ maternity leave), with a realistic possibility of permanent integration based on performance. **Salary:** Salary range dependent on experience provided. **Working Hours:** Flexible start time between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., one-hour lunch break, and flexible end time between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. **Work-Life Balance:** Position based in Pinto, with no travel requirements.
