Due to strong growth in our Building | WSP division, we are seeking to hire an Architect, Industrial Engineer, or Civil Engineer with proven capabilities as a Project Manager and Lead Designer for our Data Centers | WSP team in Madrid, to lead the design and management of Data Center projects (hyperscale, colocation, and edge) and other critical facilities. **What will you do with us?** Among your main responsibilities will be leading and managing Data Center projects from proposal through execution and closure, acting as both Lead Designer and Project Manager. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams covering architecture, structures, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and specialists, and serve as the primary technical liaison with clients and partners. You will also supervise technical quality across projects, manage risks and changes, contribute to business development by preparing proposals and attending client meetings, and support team growth by fostering knowledge transfer and developing junior profiles. **What are we looking for in you?** We seek a professional holding a degree in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and coordinating building, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in architecture, structures, and MEP is highly valued, as is comprehensive project management—including planning, cost control, risk management, and client liaison. Experience in complex projects—preferably within industrial, energy, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or similar sectors—is essential, as is familiarity with BIM environments and preparation of technical and economic proposals. A C1 level in both Spanish and English is required, along with willingness to travel. Experience in Data Center projects will be especially valued, as will project management certifications (PMP, IPMA, or PRINCE2), knowledge of industry standards, and international project experience.
