Description
Currently, the company is executing a major project in Antwerp (Belgium) and seeks to hire a Mechanical Engineer for the Technical Office to reinforce the team.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Preparation, review, and management of mechanical technical documentation associated with the project.
Coordination with Engineering, Construction, Quality, Commissioning, and Client departments to ensure proper execution of work.
Technical support to the site team, resolving queries and issues related to mechanical discipline.
Review and control of drawings, isometrics, technical specifications, data sheets, and engineering revisions.
Preparation and tracking of Site Technical Queries (STQ), as well as coordination of responses with Engineering and the Client.
Preparation and review of work procedures, technical dossiers, and documentation required for execution of mechanical activities.
Preparation of RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) in coordination with the involved departments.
Management and tracking of material requests, verifying availability and supply requirements for the project.
Preparation of progress reports and periodic project status updates.
Technical coordination with subcontractors and support in planning and monitoring of mechanical works.
Knowledge of piping systems, static and rotating equipment, supports, mechanical assembly, and applicable regulations in industrial projects.
Fluent English, both spoken and written, and experience working on international projects.
Conditions
The position is with a Spanish company with extensive experience in developing industrial projects for the Oil & Gas sector. The role will be assigned to the project currently underway in Belgium.
A project-based contract is offered, with an estimated end date in March 2027, under expatriation conditions. The company will cover accommodation, transportation, and flights related to relocation. The salary range is approximately €4,000–€5,000 net per month, paid in 12 installments, plus the opportunity to participate in a highly relevant international project within the sector.
