We are looking for a seamstress for a workshop in Barcelona, specialized in garment alterations and fittings for well-known fashion brands. The selected candidate will work with automatic sewing machines, applying techniques such as overlock, and ensure high-quality finishes with special attention to detail, precision, and neatness. Perform hemming and fitting adjustments for trousers, skirts, and dresses. Adjust and modify tailored garments such as blazers, jackets, and suits. Operate industrial and automatic sewing machines, especially overlock machines. Sew on and adjust buttons, fasteners, and other clothing accessories. Ensure clean and precise finishes, maintaining high quality standards. Inspect garments to identify possible imperfections and carry out necessary corrections. Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper care of materials and the workspace. Meet established deadlines without compromising work quality. * Minimum 1 year of experience. \- Preferably experience as a seamstress using automatic sewing machines (overlock) \- Proactive attitude \- Organized person with strong attention to detail * Spanish (spoken: advanced, written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: Detail-oriented individual who works to quality standards, with good presentation, positive attitude, and willingness to learn * Permanent employment contract * Part-time position (30 hours per week) * Gross monthly salary ranging from '1198' to '1300' * Additional information: Working hours are half-day, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00; alternatively, a 6-hour day from 10:00 to 16:00 may be considered. The stated salary corresponds to a full-time position, therefore the salary is proportionally adjusted according to working hours. Working hours may be extended if necessary.
