We are looking for a **Full Stack Developer Mid\-Senior** to join a Spanish startup building its own product in the **foodtech** sector. The company is building a digital platform for restaurants aimed at transforming how users discover what to eat and interact with establishments. The product combines technology, video, and digital experience to help restaurants better present their offerings, improve user experience, and grow their business. The platform is already in production, has **real customers**, and is currently in a growth and product evolution phase. What will you build? This role has direct impact on the product and combines development of new features with platform evolution and improvement. Projects and areas you may contribute to include: * Evolution of a video-based digital menu. * New features for users and restaurants. * Loyalty systems. * Reviews and ratings. * Reservations. * Performance and user experience improvements. * Evolution of web applications and PWAs. * Backend integrations and services. * Architecture, quality, and stability improvements. * Production incident analysis and resolution. We are not looking for someone who simply receives tickets and implements them. We seek someone who wants to understand **what problem we are solving, why it matters, and what the best technical solution is**. **Technology stack** Primary technologies include: * **React** * **TypeScript** * **Node.js** * **Firebase / Google Cloud** * **AWS** * **Git** Depending on your experience and project needs, you may also work with: * Firestore. * Firebase Authentication. * Cloud Functions. * Firebase Storage. * AWS S3\. * CloudFront. * IAM. * Jest and automated testing. * PWA. * Service Workers. * Caching strategies. * API integrations. * Observability and monitoring. We do not expect you to master all these technologies from day one. What matters most to us is that you have **strong engineering fundamentals** and sound judgment to learn and responsibly apply new tools. **Profile we are seeking** We seek a candidate with approximately **4–5 years of professional web development experience**, though we value real-world experience and autonomy over exact years. We especially seek someone who: * Has solid experience with React. * Is proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript. * Has experience with Node.js or sufficient backend foundation to operate effectively in a Full Stack environment. * Has worked with APIs, authentication, and data handling. * Understands cloud fundamentals. * Writes maintainable and modular code. * Exercises sound judgment regarding testing and quality. * Is accustomed to working with Git and code reviews. * Can interpret ambiguous requirements and translate them into concrete solutions. * Can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work organization currently relies primarily on Kanban and is gradually evolving toward a more structured sprint-based planning approach. There is an annual roadmap divided into quarterly objectives, yet the environment retains the flexibility typical of a growing company. You’ll have space to: * Propose improvements. * Constructively question decisions. * Participate in technical decisions. * Progressively assume ownership. * See the impact of what you build. * **And artificial intelligence? The company is open to using AI tools as development accelerators. You may use them to:** * **Research.** * **Explore alternatives.** * **Generate code.** * **Create tests.** * **Document.** * **Review solutions.** But with one condition: You must understand and validate everything you use.
