Our areas of activity are **Aerospace, Defense \& Security, Big Science, Biotechnology and Fintech.** **In** **ARQUIMEA SPACE** develops **spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers**. We specialize in thermal control systems, structural panels, optical payloads, avionics, release and deployment mechanisms, and rad\-hard microelectronics. Together with our tech partners we provide **high\-throughput smallsats and their subsystems**. Our brand\-new factory in Madrid is suited to **integrate satellites and constellations**. We are looking for a **Project Manager** with the mission to **lead complex space projects** from **conception to** successful **execution**, **managing** interdisciplinary **teams**, **coordinating** with **stakeholders**, and **ensuring** projects are **delivered on time**, within **budget**, and to the highest technical and regulatory standards. **Tasks to be performed:** * **Coordinate**, as main responsible, the **complete life** of **space** related **projects** assigned: planning, execution and closure. * **Ensure** that all projects are **delivered on\-time**, within **scope** and within **budget** with the **quality** standards and **procedures** of the company. * **Develop project scopes** and **objectives**, **involving** all relevant **stakeholders** and **ensuring technical feasibility** and appropriate **risk management**. * **Coordinate** project **communications**, **managing** the **iteration** with project **stakeholders** as subcontractors, partners and customers. * Use appropriate verification techniques to **manage changes** in project **scope**, **schedule** and **costs**. * **Report** and escalate to management as needed. * **Create** and maintain comprehensive **project documentation**. **Required skills, experience and candidate profile:** * **Bachelor's** or **Master’s degree** in Engineering, specialization in **Aerospace**, or a related field. * **\+3 years of experience** as **Project Manager**, preferably in space, military or aerospace sector. * Knowledge of **Project Management methodologies** (e.g., PMI methodologies). * Previous experience in **space projects** desirable. * Knowledge of **aerospace quality standards** desirable. * Proficient in **MS Office Suite**. * **Proactive, autonomous** and **team player**. * Excellent **negotiation** and **communication** skills. Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers * **Proficient in English**. * Eligible to work in the EU. * Familiarity with industry standards and requirements related to satellite power systems (e.g., **ECSS, NASA standards**). * Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required. The position is **located in** our Headquarters of **Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).** The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.
