Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Mechanic for the maintenance and repair of construction and industrial machinery, with responsibilities including diagnosis, repair, and on-site technical service. A company in the construction and industrial machinery rental sector is expanding its team and requires a Certified Mechanic specializing in maintenance and repair of construction machinery (e.g., forklifts, aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, articulating booms, dumpers), to be based at its headquarters in Alberic (Valencia). Key responsibilities include: Locating faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems of machinery using appropriate diagnostic instruments and equipment. Repairing faulty equipment: \- Repairing thermal/diesel engines and their auxiliary systems using manufacturers’ prescribed repair techniques. \- Repairing electrical system assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components of machinery using manufacturers’ prescribed repair techniques. \- Replacing and adjusting suspension and guidance system components. Repairing power transmission and braking systems, applying manufacturers’ prescribed repair techniques. Replacing and adjusting components forming part of machinery equipment and attachments mounted with fixed joints. Repairing machinery equipment and attachments, applying manufacturers’ prescribed repair techniques. Inspecting equipment upon completion of rental periods and preparing them for subsequent service assignments. Providing technical service: traveling to customer locations for repair and maintenance. Completing work reports describing interventions performed, causes of faults, and materials and spare parts used. Interpretation of hydraulic and electrical schematics is a plus.
