Contribute to NDT capability development and governance **A Snapshot of Your Day** Join our dynamic team as an NDT Expert within the SE WP Towers organization! You will provide advanced technical support to Tower Operations, ensuring the effective application and continuous improvement of Non\-Destructive Testing (NDT) processes across our Tower Makers (Tier 1\) and their suppliers (Tier 2\). You will review and approve NDT Procedures and Scan Plans, validate and release NDT inspectors, and conduct on\-site inspections and audits to guarantee compliance with internal requirements, international standards, and customer expectations. In case of any deviations related to NDT in Operations, you will be the main point of contact for the regional Manufacturing Quality team, ensuring clear communication and robust corrective actions. Your role will also involve facilitating the development of NDT capabilities and contributing to a strong NDT governance model at both global and regional levels. **How You’ll Make an Impact** * Review, assess, and approve NDT Procedures and Scan Plans from Tower Makers (Tier 1\) and their suppliers (Tier 2\). * Validate and release NDT inspectors to perform inspections within Tower Maker facilities. * Conduct on\-site NDT inspections and audits at Tower Makers and suppliers, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications. * Act as the primary contact for NDT\-related deviations within Operations, ensuring alignment and effective communication with the Manufacturing Quality team. * Collaborate with Technology on the development, review, and improvement of Validation Technique Specifications, supporting the introduction of new validation techniques. **What You Bring** * A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in NDT for cast components, heavy steel fabrication, or large welded structures. * A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical field. * Certification to ISO 9712 in VT, MT, PT, UT, PAUT, TOFD at Level II minimum (Level III preferred). * Demonstrated willingness and motivation to develop towards Level III certification across all relevant NDT and validation techniques. * Strong leadership in data analysis, quality documentation, and technical communication. **About the Team** You will be part of a collaborative team that combines two key functions: NDT and Supply Quality Engineers. This team focuses on the quality of tower modules and the primary structure of the tower, which includes the main components used in tower manufacturing. Following a reorganization last year, synergies between these two functions have begun to develop. The NDT team primarily works with tower manufacturers, while the Supply Quality Engineers focus on the supply chain.
