At VINCLE – Association for Social Research and Action, we are seeking a Social Technician for Unwanted Loneliness for the Program addressing Unwanted Loneliness among residents of the Verdum neighbourhood in Barcelona. The service supports elderly people experiencing loneliness, often with mobility and relational limitations. \- Maintain and develop the coordination network with local social entities, always in relation to supporting the target population. \- Participate in the “Being Elderly in Verdum” forum and other forums established regarding unwanted loneliness and the broader fight against social isolation. \- Coordinate with entities and public administrations involved in case referrals. \- Attend individuals referred to the project to identify their needs and ensure necessary support. \- Inform (whenever possible) about the BCN\+65 programme and its associated resources. \- Maintain and develop ongoing initiatives within the service framework (conversation groups, board games, life stories, walks, participation in neighbourhood activities, with appropriate adaptation as needed). \- Promote new initiatives benefiting people experiencing Unwanted Loneliness in Verdum. * Experience: 3 years. \- 3 years’ experience (within the last 5 years) in Unwanted Loneliness projects. * Degree \- Social Education * Degree \- Social Work * Catalan (spoken: advanced; written: advanced) * Spanish (spoken: advanced; written: advanced) * Competencies / knowledge: \- Diploma and/or degree in Social Education or related social fields. \- 3 years’ experience (within the last 5 years) in Unwanted Loneliness projects. \- Good knowledge of the Verdum neighbourhood in Barcelona. \- Fluent spoken and written Catalan and Spanish. \- High adaptability and assertiveness; flexibility and teamwork skills; initiative; communication and leadership abilities. \- Strong oral and written communication skills. * Permanent employment contract * Intensive working schedule * Other relevant information: \- Weekly working hours: 35 h/week \- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. \- Remuneration according to: Social Action Collective Agreement \- Start date: Immediate \- Location: Verdum Neighbourhood Community Centre \- Additional note: Replacement contract
