We are a company specialized in environmental services, education, and dissemination of natural heritage, and we are seeking a person to join us as an Environmental Educator to conduct guided tours in a natural area of significant geological and landscape interest. The work takes place in the province of Barcelona, particularly in the regions of Bages, Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental, and Moianès; therefore, residence nearby is valued to facilitate mobility. Welcoming and attending visitors before the activity. Conducting interpretive guided tours focused on geology, biodiversity, and natural heritage. Accompanying groups along outdoor itineraries and during indoor visits. Managing visitor capacity and validating reservations. Communicating and conveying content clearly and adapting it to diverse audiences. Preparing monthly activity reports (attendance, incidents, visitor feedback). Monitoring proper functioning of facilities and identifying incidents. Providing support for outreach or environmental education activities when required. * Minimum 1 year of experience. Experience in environmental education, guided tours, interpretation of natural heritage, or group management in natural environments. Experience in scientific outreach, nature tourism, or public-facing activities will be considered an asset. * Higher vocational training (Grado Superior) in: Environmental Education and Control, * Forestry and Natural Environment Management, * Landscape Architecture and Rural Environment, Tourism, Biology, Environmental Sciences. * Catalan (spoken – advanced, written – advanced) * Spanish (spoken – advanced, written – advanced) * English (spoken – basic, written – intermediate) * Competencies / knowledge: Prior experience in environmental education, guided tours, or similar tasks. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner with the public. Ability to adapt presentations to family, school, and organized groups. Commitment to conservation and respect for the natural environment. Capacity to work autonomously and responsibly. Comfort moving within natural environments and walking along low-difficulty itineraries. * Availability of a personal vehicle * Valid driver’s license: Class B * Temporary employment contract (8 months) * Part-time position (10 hours per week) * Additional relevant information: Salary and conditions according to the Leisure Sector Collective Agreement – Environmental Educator, Table B, Group 3b, Level 3.1
